Typical Slovenia

With all the cheap European airlines such as Easyjet and Ryanair, it is easy to explore the rich cultures of Europe. Here’s the picture postcard village of Srebrelje in Slovenia, with mountains, lakes, a few miles of coastline, Venice and Austria within reach. I haven’t found time to visit Barcelona and Berlin – they’re still on my to-do list.

New York City, USA

I am impressed with NYC: Times Square, Brooklyn Bridge, Coney Island in summer, Central Park and the people. Most tourists passing through just see Manhattan and I’m not sure what it’s like to actually live there.

Rugby and Diving, Levuka, Fiji

Far away from the isolated captive economies of the resorts you can find the real Fiji. What better way to spend your time than diving off a small island looking for marine life, followed by watching a competitive and high standard game of rugby. There was a coup here in December 2006 but as far as the traveler is concerned there is little evidence that it ever happened.

Shopping in Singapore

Well, I did not buy very much but the city of Singapore in the country of Singapore seems to be the place to do your shopping. That’s it really.
